Southern Steel Fabricators, Inc. fabricates structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial and industrial uses. Our shop produces a variety of items including stairs, stair rails, handrails, guard rails, ladders, platforms and other items as job requirements dictate. Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas make up the majority of our service area.
Our company was founded in 1981 and has operated continuously since that time. The work force began as four people and has grown to now include approximately forty full time office and shop personnel.
Office personnel includes project managers, estimators, and our own in-house detailers. We also have access to a number of outside detailing firms. |

Our shop is supervised by skilled professionals. We have an in-house quality control program which monitors all phases of our fabrication process. Our own AWS certified welding inspector handles all inspection and testing of our welders. The work force includes fitters, layout personnel, welders, helpers, painters, inspectors and delivery drivers.

We have approximately 38,000 square feet of shop area and 2,200 square feet of office space. Our facilities are located east of the city limits of Monroe, Louisiana just south of the I-20 service road. |
